Credit card details entered on a PayWay form component

The plugin displays a standardised PayWay component for the payer to enter their credit card details into.

The component is simple with minimal ability to edit, but using the Payway component makes it easier to comply with security and financial transaction requirements.

Credit card details are handled safely

The payer's credit card details are sent directly from their browser to PayWay without being seen or stored by your website.

Your website only stores PayWay's receipt and transaction numbers and the payer's contact details. If you're using the Elementor Atomic form option, you can also add other form fields to capture additional information.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Which banks does Geshmak Payments support?

Geshmak Payments currently supports banks in the Westpac Group that support PayWay payments: Westpac and St George Bank.

Does Geshmak Payments support payment gateways from other banks?

We are planning to add payment gateways from other banks over time. If you are interested in a particular payment gateway, let us know.

Does Geshmak Payments need WooCommerce?

You don't need WooCommerce or any other eCommerce plugin. Geshmak Payments works directly with PayWay to process payments.

Does Geshmak Payments need Elementor?

No. If you don't use Elementor, you can embed a PayWay payment form using a WordPress shortcode. However, if you do use Elementor and its Atomic design system you can build a payments form using your site's design.

Does Geshmak Payments support recurring payments?

Yes, if you have enabled PayWay's Recurring Billing and Customer Vault module in your PayWay account.

Geshmak Payments can take one-off and recurring payments in frequencies supported by PayWay: weekly, fortnightly, monthly, quarterly, six-monthly, and yearly frequencies.

You are able to choose which (if any) recurring payment frequencies you want to make available.

Can I cancel recurring payments?

Yes. You can cancel a recurring payment in the WordPress dashboard, which will cancel future payments.

Does my site store credit card details?

No. Credit card details are sent directly from a payer's browser to PayWay and are not seen or stored by your website. Your website only stores PayWay's receipt and transaction numbers and the payer's contact details.

What currencies are supported?

PayWay only accepts payments in AUD.

Is Geshmak Payments only available to Geshmak hosting clients?

You don't need to be a Geshmak hosting client to use Geshmak Payments, but we do give a significant discount for it on websites we build or host. If you are not a client, you can get the Geshmak Payments plugin with a subscription. We also provide setup and installation services or you can set it up yourself.
