Who is Geshmak?
After more than two decades working in corporate communications across business, government, and consultancy, I've seen firsthand how often marketing communications services are over-complicated, over-priced, and fail to deliver.
Too often, organisations are forced to choose between quality and affordability, even though better and cheaper marketing and communications tools are more widely available today than ever before.
I created Geshmak! to provide affordable full-service digital marketing agency services, delivered with experience and integrity. I deliver agency-quality thinking and delivery, without the agency overheads.
I even offer clients affordable managed website hosting - looking after their websites like they're my own - so they can focus on their day-to-day instead of maintaining a website.

Who is behind Geshmak?
Geshmak! was created by Tom Kříha Goldstein, a corporate communications consultant in Melbourne's inner south. You can read more about Tom on his communications consultancy website.
How do you pronounce your name?
"Kříha" is Czech, and most non-Czech speakers can get close enough to the correct pronounciation saying KREE-ha. Tom is fine.
What's your background?
I have over two decades of experience in corporate communications across business, government, and consultancy.
I have always had an interest in technology generally (both of my parents were computer scientists) and digital communications in my professional life. I've been building websites since the days of hand coding HTML in a text editor.
As it happens, I studied law, political philosophy, and comparative politics at university and have degrees in law and political science.
What does "Geshmak" mean?
Geshmak means tasty, delicious, and enjoyable. It's the delightful feeling of something that works well and looks and feels great doing it. That's what I aim for in my digital marketing.
Can a sole operator be a full-service agency?
Full-service means you can get everything you need in one place: strategy, design, build, hosting, email, social, and print. It doesn't mean a building full of account managers marking up the work of the junior who actually does it. You get the senior person on every job, because there's only the senior person.
What sort of clients do you work with?
I work mostly with small- and mid-sized businesses, professional practices, not-for-profits, and community organisations. They all have in common that they need a professional online presence but don't want to spend agency rates creating it. My clients have included local professional practices, local community organisations, and national peak bodies.

Do you only work with clients in Melbourne?
I'm based in Melbourne's inner south and I like to get to know my clients face-to-face. Having said that, I can work with clients anywhere and work with clients elsewhere in Australia and overseas.
